LAKEFRONT HOMES

Welcome to Austin

Austin's most captivating and pristine homes

Austin is best known for its rich culture, music and art scenes, and livability, but its lakefront homes provide residents with a sense of luxury and serenity that’s hard to find elsewhere. Lakefront homes in the city offer ample opportunities for water-based activities, including fishing, swimming, boating, and kayaking. You can also have a picnic on Lake Travis's coastline.

Both Lake Travis and Lake Austin are all-sports lakes with public launches. However, the lakefront homes and neighborhoods enjoy private boat docks and marinas. A favorite activity for locals is to visit one of many restaurants nestled near the lake's edge by boat.

The rich history of lakefront homes in Austin dates back to the early 1940s when authorities constructed Lake Travis and Lake Austin. Residents and tourists can walk along scenic trails to view picturesque lakefront estates. Lake Travis’ 271 miles of active, pristine coastline offer its residents unspoiled natural views and recreational options, while Lake Austin’s charming downtown provides locals with access to stunning cuisine and shopping.
